The Studio
We develop the people who have to live with it: what they want, what they stand to lose, and the choices that change them.
Our slate explores intelligence, identity, and humanity’s future through stories built around personal stakes. Each property has its own development path, with completed materials identified clearly — the world bible exists before the treatment, the treatment before the script. Development moves; assets get produced.
Cro-Magnon doesn’t option ideas — we originate them, pitch-ready, so an AI-native studio, a writer, or a producer doesn’t have to build a development pipeline just to get one good concept.
Every property is developed as pitch-ready IP — world bible, treatment, and character work complete. A writer is attached at option; Cro-Magnon does not deliver scripts.

Our Approach
No spectacle over psychology. The catastrophe lives in the character. The tension is internal. Destruction is the least interesting thing that can happen.
No franchise logic. Every world is built with a deliberate ending. That constraint is a source of meaning — not a limitation.
No explanatory crutches. The audience is capable. If the concept requires a monologue to be understood, the concept is underdeveloped. Restraint is intelligence.
