The Studio
We welcome conversations with producers, filmmakers, showrunners, and creative partners interested in original science fiction. That includes teams exploring AI-assisted production and interactive storytelling. Our development approach establishes consistent world rules, character motivations, and narrative consequences that collaborators can carry into their chosen medium.
What matters is who has to live with it. What they want. What they stand to lose. And what they choose when there is no painless way forward.
Cro-Magnon develops speculative stories from that point outward, building the characters, conflicts, and rules that allow an ambitious idea to sustain a film or series.
Each project has a defined development stage and a clear inventory of completed materials — ranging from world dossiers and treatments to full series architecture — giving collaborators a substantial foundation to assess and develop.

Character gives the premise its consequence. The speculative element changes what a person can do, believe, or endure. The drama comes from their response.
The world keeps its promises. Its rules hold under pressure. Discoveries have consequences. The story earns its surprises through what it has established.
The ending belongs to the beginning. We develop toward a resolution that answers the story's central conflict. The format and length follow from what that resolution requires.
The audience has room to think. We trust viewers to notice, connect, and question. Explanation serves the drama; uncertainty has a purpose.
Development leaves room for collaborators. Each project establishes its essential logic while leaving space for interpretation and discovery.
